Blair Atholl and the Surrounding Area

The village of Blair Atholl is situated in the heart of Highland Perthshire and is the ideal location for your holiday in this beautiful part of Scotland. The City of Perth is about 30 miles south while the lovely town of Pitlochry with its specialist shops, many quality restaurants and wonderful Festival Theatre is only six miles away.     Visit the House of Bruar for the ultimate shopping experience, only four miles to the North, often referred to as 'The Harrods of the North'. It also boasts a high class Self-Service Restaurant.

Blair Atholl has two village stores, a gift shop, Post Office, two hotels with Restaurants and Bars, a working Water Mill with its own excellent tea room and of course the magnificent Blair Castle and grounds. We also have a railway station on the main line from Inverness to Glasgow and Edinburgh. For informal eating, there is an excellent Fish & Chip shop. There are internet facilities situated within Blair Castle Caravan Park.

Please visit the web site of our local Tourist Association for full details of attractions and an up to date diary of events.
